Reach/High Level Order Picker

42.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis)

Salary: £18,851.30 per year

Applicants must hold a current High Level Order Picker Forklift licence and have previous working experience of operating a High Level Order Picker in a warehouse.

Duties include working in a busy warehouse environment, in which you will be responsible for the receiving and replenishment of goods and to ensure that all counts and quality checks on deliveries are completed in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. Additional duties may include the picking and packing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To operate forklift equipment as and when required
  • To replenish bulk stock from Goods In
  • To assist in the picking and packing of client/customer stock
  • To work as part of a team supporting colleagues and the Team Leader as and when required.
  • To understand and adhere to all department, client and quality procedures.

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Committed and flexible
  • Work as part of a team and own initiative where appropriate
  • Relevant and valid Forklift operational licences
  • Shifts will be worked across Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.

Transport Coordinator

42.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota)

Salary: £18,500-£19,448 per year

We have an exciting opportunity in our Unit 4 Warehouse for a Transport Coordinator.

The Role

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for:

  • The control all areas involving Transport within the business including inward and outward deliveries.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to arrange specific delivery bookings suitable for both parties.
  • Coordinating with retailers to arrange specific delivery bookings suitable for both parties.
  • Ensuring all despatches are successfully exited from Spark and unloading deliveries.
  • Controlling the dock area to ensure housekeeping standards and Health and Safety awareness are maintained.
  • Liaising with an array of couriers to ascertain which service is required.
  • Ensuring that all deliveries and despatches are dealt with efficiently.
  • The reporting on any discrepancies.
  • Liaising with Partner Services and Operations Managers to provide an excellent quality of service to all clients.

The Candidate

The successful candidate should have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good administration skills and be highly organised
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • A counter balance licence is preferred but not essential
