Our locationIdeally placed as an outsourced service provider
Not many know this, but the first ever eCommerce order was placed in Gateshead by a Mrs Snowball, who ordered from Tesco in 1984. So you could say we’re at the home of eCommerce
North East England
The North East is home to over 145 contact centres. More than 5% of the working population of the North East work in Contact Centres. That’s over 60,000 people. Our accent is regularly voted amongst the friendliest, most welcoming, and most helpful accents in studies across the UK.
Freight and goods handling
Spark Response is located in the North East and has a strategic relationship with Teesport for receiving freight from Asia. Shipping stock directly to our North Eastern ports as opposed to Felixstowe can offer some real cost advantages which we’d be delighted to share with you. Read more about this…
Travel and Transport
We’re under 3 hours from London Kings Cross by train. We’re 30 minutes from Newcastle International Airport. Locally we’re well catered for with local buses, and the Tyne and Wear Metro System – the UK’s second largest light rail system outside London, meaning we’re very accessible for workers and visitors across the region.
The benefits to you
Spark Response is one of the most respected outsourced providers in the North East, recently winning various awards including ‘Best eCommerce Customer Service‘ nationally, and Large Contact Centre of the Year regionally. We’re extremely proud of our heritage in the North East. Our location in Gateshead, situated centrally between Newcastle and Sunderland, allows us to attract talented employees from across the key cities in our region. We have an extremely wealthy talent pool to select from, and in many ways, the often quoted “shortage of employment opportunities” in our region helps us to main a loyal and experienced team. Our average tenure is over 7 years across our business.
